Freebird has it's American Film channel premiere.
Mixing starts on the official soundtrack for Freebird. The soundtrack is due to become available from 7 December 2009.
Freebird continues to pick up new international territories around the world including: most Central European Countries and Asia.
Jon Ivays next project will be JD & COKE
The story of John Delorean and his famous Sports car made in Northern Ireland and made famous by the Back to the Future movies.
The project will be in both stageplay and screenplay formats.
Freebird will be screening at this years Berlin Film Festival
Freebird will also be screening at this years Cannes Film Festival in May
Freebird will be released in Australia in March 2009. The film will also be able to be seen (or bought) in Germany, Hungary, Portrugal and the Middle East. Other Countries who are to take Freebird will be announced shortly.
Paul McCartney's new album (under the guise) "The Fireman" Electric Arguments, is released to Huge critical acclaim. The Album is a co-production between Paul McCartney and Youth, the Composer/ Producer of the Freebird Soundtrack.
Music from the film will soon be available.
Sales Agent American World Pictures signs up FREEBIRD after the Los Angeles screenings. The company will act for the film on all International markets. Freebird will be screening at the AFM (American Film Market) in November.
Freeebird will be screening at Laemmle's SUNSET 5 - 8000 Sunset Blvd between the 26th of September and the 2nd of October.
Freebird DVD goes on sale 02/06/08 and is available in most major retailers including HMV, ZAVVI, TESCO, ASDA, AMAZON..
Freebird continues to tour the country and it's announced that it will have an Outdoor screening at this years Glastonbury Festival
The DVD will be launched with a special screening at the Ace Cafe
Freebird moves over to the Curzon Cinema on Shaftesbury Avenue London for some new dates with others pencilled. The film is now being booked into Independent Cinemas until the end of May
Freebird opens in it's first 21 Cinemas on 1st Feb. This is followed a week later with its West End Opening at the Empire Leicester Square (sold out).
The Sun Newspaper call it "the best Biker Movie since Easyrider" and gives it 5 out of 5.

Other Papers - National and Regionally give the film the thumbs up, and most London papers feel that it will go on to become a future classic.
MCN's Political commentator Steve Farrell is concerned about the casual use of recreational drugs in the film and feels the movie might stereotype bikers, but eventually the paper succumbs to the films charms and they run the cinema trailer throughout their London Motorcycle show (many thanks MCN).
Towers of London release their version of Freebird on iTunes
The 1st,2nd and 3rd of Feb is the official opening weekend for the movie and we want to make it the biggest opening of any motorcycle movie in UK history. Ride Safe.
MAG the Motorcycle Action Group come on board to help promote FREEBIRD to their members around the UK. MAG is a great organization and has served the motorcycle community to protect the freedom of the open road over the years.

A great number of people are treating the opening weekend of Freebird as an excuse for a first ride out of the year.This was part of the thinking when making the film. Rather than just going to the cinema to watch a movie, also use it as an excuse to catch up with people and get out on the bike.
Towers of London set to release Freebird as a single. The Towers have recorded a blinding version of Freebird to co-incide with the release of the film (available through iTunes from late Jan)

Freebird to be released in cinemas across the Uk on Feb the 1st 2008. It's been just under twelve months since the last bit of footage was shot on Freebird and just under five since it was completed, but Freedom Picture Company have secured distribution for this new British motorcycle movie. The cinemas selected will give a broad spread of the Uk which will give everyone a chance to see the film on the big screen. We are hoping the cinemas will be able to offer special deals for group bookings.
A big thanks to everyone we met at the Isle of Man for making it such a special stay. The film was a huge success with bikers and locals.

Towers of London front man Donny Tourette Joins the Big Brother House. Earlier in 2006 the band record a version of Freebird for the film.
Don’t worry purists, there’s plenty of the the original version on the film, “This bird cannot change, this bird will not change”.
Capital Radio DJ Johnny Vaughn talks about new British film Freebird on his radio show.
